"I understand why you don't want to but I am famous and YOU ARE part of my life." He wanted Minoru to understand that he didn't offer to make him seem greater than he was. The offer was because Minoru was his partner and equal. That equality was earned from love, not fame.

He wasn't offended and wouldn't push. However, that last part got a look from Ziggy between confusion, hurt and disappointment.

"You've already earned a place on the red carpet." Ziggy sighed and shook his head. "Or don't you think you deserve to be beside me? Maybe not in yours, but in my world you've earned that already through respect. You earned it the moment I fell in love with you and the moment people realize the kind of boy it takes to get my attention."

He was realizing Minoru didn't understand fame or what it meant to be famous. He let it drop though and laughed quietly. "You already have a fan club. You should write us newsletters."

Ziggy didn't want to linger on what had momentarily upset him. Instead he wanted to focus on the happiness and some humor.
