She comes up on the bench beside him, light on her feet, and producing a thumping feeling like a bass drum at a rock concert. She, like all of her kind, rely on a form of echolocation to "see" the world.

The human language takes time to process but there's definitely a nod before she awkwardly stands up on just two legs. She's not really made for it like others of her kind but she's trying to mimic Minoru. This is a learning experience after all.
