Danny nods along with Shelby's explanation -- it makes sense, really. When you've trained to be among the best at something, all the striving and preparation is aimed at the task, and actually getting to do it is like... reaching the calm center of the universe. "So, you and your boyfriend are in the same field, but you're not on the same team? Probably a smart move."

He thinks for a moment about how to answer Peter's question. While he's definitely more open about some aspects of his job, there are some things that just never go over well. (The more violent parts, to be specific.)

"For the day to day, I'm usually working information analysis. Intelligence is gathered, and we have to separate the biases from fact." Danny lets his telekinetic aura 'light up' around one hand, in a visible bright pink glow. "But I've got some field experience, so after fights between superheroes and supervillains, I'm usually part of the team sent in to clean up."
