The symbols are vaguely familiar, but she doesn't know them for what they are. She hasn't gotten around to reading about belief systems from other worlds yet nor has she read up on magic from Tamriel. Someday, maybe, but she'd like to get the basic principles of magic down first, hence all her research on elemental magic as of late.

"That..." Is surprisingly good advice, even if he ruins it at the end. She's still so attached to her world, holding her breath every day as she walks the streets of the Nexus and prays no one else is able to find their way here. The portal should be closed for good - courtesy of Naugus' former rival - but she has no way of knowing for sure and she's not ready to ask for help to check that. Not yet.

Her face falls as she realizes what needs to be said next, though. "...you're right."
