The unexpected excitement does make Viatorus' smile come more easily. Seeing his friend so approving of it all taps on a small well of pride he doesn't feel all that often. It is an accomplishment to have found a wife as lovely as Runa, but he doesn't often realise that.

"I didn't, no." His own family has traditions surrounding wedding rings, too. They're... not quite so pleasant, however, so he lets them remain unspoken.
