At this point, all Miles can do when face-to-face with a dinosaur is simply stare. Some dark little wild part of him just wondering if getting his head bitten off here would be so bad. Except he's pretty sure his mom'd be sad if he joined her quite so soon. And his spidersense wasn't indicating a threat, not really.
But thankfully he was... writing? Which threw the teen through a loop, and he had to take a long moment to really process the idea, or what had been written.
