"Agreed. It's fucking cold enough during the day out there." He rummages in his jacket pockets for his goggles and face mask, glancing back at Delia after half a second. "You're gonna want something over your face or th'wind is gonna be hell."

A quiet warning while he gets himself ready to head back out into the cold once again. He's gotten pretty quick at gearing up these last few weeks out of practice and repetition. Day and and day out he's on the speeder keeping a lookout for whatever needs doing.

Captain Kirk doesn't have much else to say. He shakes his head at Delia's look. Nothing else so far as information goes. So long as they've got the gear they need in an emergency including flashlights and rope he's ready to let them head off and get this sorted for them. Though he does speak up when they're nearly at the door outside.

"Be quick. Be safe. Let me know as soon as you're back."

Joshua tips him a mock salute before shouldering open the door and setting about brushing the snow off his speeder. The few minutes they were inside hasn't hindered it any and it whirs to life the moment he fires it up. With practiced ease Josh hops onto it before scooting himself forward as far as he can on the seat and pulling up next to Delia so she can climb on.
