Yeah, what Matt's picking up of that body language is familiar as fuck. What the hell happened? He was fine a couple hours ago. Unfortunately, he knows all too well how quickly shit like this can change. And while he can't see the damage for himself, he can feel the heat in the other man's face even from over here, low and angry like a sunburn.

He doesn't quite wince at Steve's slip of the tongue; he'd kinda figured his identity wasn't as secret as he would've preferred. But maybe it's better this way. If anyone here has any idea what kind of darkness the captain's been plunged into, it's Matt Murdock. And he kinda doubts this 'curse' was kind enough to give the good captain the same kind of enhanced senses Daredevil uses to navigate the world around him. "Yeah, it's me." He steps close enough to reach out and touch the other man's shoulder, providing a solid anchor point in the dark.

Fortunately, Matt can't smell any fresh blood, can't hear the creaking of any broken bones, or anything else that'd hint at further injuries Steve wasn't sharing. Matt's probably the only one here who's relieved to realize that though. Blindness is familiar, and curses are (he hopes) temporary.

Temporary enough that it's relatively easy to set it aside to deal with later, something Steve appears to agree with, despite the faster thrum of his heartbeat. "Is there anywhere else they might've gone? Or someone specific they might've been looking for?"
