Figured we'd both be better off if we worked together - we don't have that much worth stealing, anyway, and they have supplies of their own, so I thought I could make some kind of deal. They know how to survive out here better than we do. I also guess I thought it was some kinda misunderstanding we could work out."

He shrugs. He won't hold back next time, but it's too bad there isn't another way, and he still doen't know much about why the creatures are so hellbent on making people miserable. It's disappointing. If he knew why they were here and what they wanted, he figured they could negotiate.
