Natalie isn't expecting Blaze to slow down and greet her, especially not while the team is marching outward. After the crazy show with retrieving the beacons, it's hard to assess the Guardian and her goals. Perhaps a few weeks ago, Natalie would've found amusement in her actions, a similarity in own style in training Pokemon...but things are significantly different now. Death and starvation has a way of changing people, after all.
Volcarona hovers close by, allowing Natalie to stay mounted, but also have a conversation. "For now, my Pokemon are okay. I made sure to give them ample rest. As for me..." Lie or tell the truth? Better to come clean now, instead of having lingering regrets later. "The Fallen, there's something about them that bothers me. During that firefight, I got a glance at once and their eyes...it reminds me of something, but I don't know what."
