Matt’s opponent manages to block the kick at its knees with one hand, but it misses the baton driving into its abdomen with a short snap of electricity. It staggers backward in the snow, limbs jerking, and even then it might recover… except Palmer is training his gun on it. The gun barks a few times in the cold air, and the Fallen vandal slumps to the ground almost at the same time Sif sends one of its comrades to join it. That leaves one more, just unmasked by Loki’s blades and struggling to its feet again-

Ah. And there. Loki’s doubles shadow-fighting with empty air that hums like blades is a hint to at least two more of the villains, before Delia swings around and sprays snow across the battleground. That might irritate some of her allies, but for those who watch where it lands, it marks out both the assassins distracted by Loki’s illusion… and another, near a tree, this one with a rifle aimed at Sif. As for Matt, well- he already knows.
