There's a lot of people coming and going, in the wake of the expedition's return. Matt pays her little attention until she addresses him, and his head comes up a little. "Oh, hey." He doesn't need to self-consciously touch his injuries to know that they're there; every breath sounds like an ancient wooden ship has taken up residence in his chest, creaking with the cracks in his ribs. "It's not too bad. I've had worse than this. Are you okay?"
