It probably doesn't matter much in the grand scheme of things but the only illegal alcohols Norn's aware of are the kind that will actually make humans and several other species go blind and suffer massive organ damage by drinking if it was made by the wrong backwater colony distiller. So he could see why maybe beer could possibly be illegal.

It's still strange to wrap his head around. Humans are pretty well known for trying just about anything.

Norn trails off again, having caught sight of one of the stand workers peeling and unraveling a potato at the same time off of a little machine she's operating like it's a ball of yarn.
