"Been what? A good influence?" That's the only way that Thor can think that sentence would end. But as uncertain as Thor is about himself, he can see that same self-doubt in Loki at times, a mixture of pride and trying his best and still perhaps coming up short in the eyes of those he cares about, or at least feeling as though he had. It's a feeling that Thor knows far more than he wishes he did.
