Hunter mostly uses colored pencils for his drawings. Which works really well when drawing the colorful Martians themselves. He pauses in mid stroke, and finds some thin fabric from his art bag. And by applying them in place with glue, and a little paint, the portrait of Blue and Pink becomes more life-like.
