After all, there are humans where she comes from. All he's thinking is that they might be from the same galaxy.
Galaxies are huge places. So what if she has a little bot like Blaze does.
Though her prompt for an intro makes him realize that he's doing some of this getting to know her out of order. He sticks out his hand for a polite shake. "Captain Han Solo." He murmurs with a faint smile. "My ship is the Millenium Falcon."
