Astro grinned wider at the question about flying cars. "Yeah! Where I'm from in Metro City there's lots of those!" He laughed. "A lot of the fancier ones also have integrated limited AI that can control the car for you. You just program it to take you home or work or wherever." The technology in the floating and isolated Metro City was decades ahead of what Astro had seen on the Earth's surface - where places were a lot more run down and falling apart. The contrast had been very striking.

"Pff..nothing wrong with that." Astro waved a hand at the fellow's almost shy admittance. "You can find some pretty neat stuff in a junkyard. I know from experience." He continued rifling through the various pieces of tech.
