The way the man spoke about uniformed society made Loki feel uneasy himself. Who were these so called mortals who sought out to control the population with their technology? Whoever they were, he was taking a distinct dislike already to Jack's dystopian world.
"Would do they seek to gain from such a regime? Every mortal under their control to spy on and monitor due to their fixation with monotony and order?"
Surely there had to be a crack in this plan. It had to be flawed. No mortal could possibly wield enough power to control a whole city and not fail at some point along the line. It seemed Jack was the rebel; the spanner in the works to ruin the master plan.
"You need not fear such extreme measures here for none exist. There are creatures from all over the cosmos who choose to live how they want. You can be free of these "controllers" from your world."
