Speaking of bird people, Balthazar is approached by a very large one who has two catwings - one black and one silver - on her shoulders. skekSa the Mariner is taking Flint and Silver out for a walk, and is surprised to see someone with a dog.

She tips her hat politely on greeting the two. "Captain skekSa. Don't believe we've met before. Though I have met angels here, a few of them. None quite like you, but all the angels here have a distinct flavor."
