Piper laughed and nodded. "I can cook pasta and a few other things but it's not my talent," she said with a grin. "Oh now baking, absolutely. It's been a while but I've bookmarked some cookie recipes that I still want to try out but haven't gotten around to. They're a good stress relief," she agreed.

She'd be the first to admit that for a number of years, she had a complicated relationship with food. But she had learned that if she wanted to survive what the world was throwing at her, she'd have to take better care of herself than she did.
