"I do, actually," Shelby replies. She'd given this a lot of thought because she knows how an athlete's career is finite and so many of them never have anything to fall back on. "I want to work as a driver coach for an IndyCar team. My friend Dario transitioned into being the coach for Chip Ganassi Racing and he loves it. I think that would be a good fit for me, and keep me involved in the sport."

"I want to get married and start a family. And pursue my Masters degree. Education is important in my family and I always enjoyed going to school. So I've got lots of things to look forward to when the time is right, assuming that I put in the effort now to make them possible."
