The man's immediate response makes her smile. "I would have liked a chocolate cake," she admits. "But we didn't have enough chocolate for one." Her wedding cheesecake was delicious, anyway, and not something that she focused on during her reception.

"Well, usually when people feel strongly about their wedding details, it's because they've been envisioning one for a while." Anastasia mews at her feet, so she bends down to scoop her up into her arms. "I, um... well, I'd been to a few weddings before my own. I was a bridesmaid in one, actually. But I never had super strong feelings about my own. It's kind of like planning a party? And I'm not big on parties... that's why I let my friend take over, she loves organizing that sort of thing. And my husband was happy to step in if she tried to go overboard."

Of the two of them, Caspar cared way more, now that she thinks about it. "So... I guess what I'm saying is, if you don't have a strong opinion about a lot of the details, that's okay? But you should at least feel like it's your wedding and not just a generic party. Is there anything that represents your relationship with your fiancé that you'd like to include?"
