Okay, well...she looks young, so Steve probably shouldn't risk contributing to the delinquency of a minor, but the question she asks is pretty near to his heart right now. He makes a grumpy little noise of acknowledgement from where he's seated on a wrought-iron park bench with his sketchbook in his lap. "What would I do, or what do I think people in general should do?"

Take their ideas on board and consider them objectively, and then if you want to change your behavior accordingly, do it, and if not, tell them no and why." "What I would actually do is get into a shouting match and come here to sulk. I'm guessing you're about the same."
