Brrrll, brrrll! The noises sound halfway between a big cat purring and the hum of distant traffic. It could be soothing. Abby finds them charming, herself.

"They're vampire pumpkins," she nods. "Kind of like a subspecies of normal pumpkins? I guess? The folklore says they can be mean, but since they can't bite or do much of anything but roll across your toes, they're harmless. And they don't seem hostile to me, honestly. Just a little cranky during the day."
