"Guardian? Like a protector?" He's spent too much time with books than engaging with people here. But he's hoping that word meant the same as he was thinking.

Alphonse rubbed the back of his head. "Yeah... I spent a few years in this form when..." He paused. He knew he and Edward had broken the rules by trying to bring their mom back, and this was his punishment for it, probably the fact he had lost his brother as well. "When we tried to bring Mom back." He finished. "When I really focus I can make my voice come from the body too, but I may be a little out of practice." He chuckled a little. "It's more I animate the armor. As long as the sigil isn't damaged at least." At least that's how it had been before he got his body back. Al wasn't about to test it now though, even if they were in a safe area, from everything he had read in the books. "I haven't even checked to see if I can still do Alchemy in this form, hoping I'm not stuck with it too long though. I missed eating."
