Heiiu didn't have eyes to make contact with, the mask they wore was featureless other than the seams of silver sealing cracks in the white surface. But that didn't stop the immediate perk in them as they spotted the lovely looking wolf. So pretty! And look at the red swirls in her fur how nice!
They had no clue what the flaming disk was, but that wasn't stopping them from pausing in their wanderings, and when they spot that wagging tail crouching to hold a hand out in invitation for the wolf to sniff and see if she wants pets from them. And given they've got four hands, that's double the pets for her trouble!
