Don't look now, but Morticia Addams appears to be sweeping in - but a closer look shows that no, actually, it's just Dinah, with her hair brushed out as straight as she could make it and wearing more makeup and fewer petticoats than usual.

She even brought her own contribution to the snack table: a tray piled with what look like gingerbread men, decorated to look like voodoo dolls, mummies, vampires, and skeletons. Once she's set the tray safely down, she turns, eyes scanning the crowd, and idly smoothing nonexistent wrinkles out of her velvet skirt.

Then, she takes a breath and steps away from the table to start mingling.
