He can't help but chuckle at her description of her costume's origin. "Rather ironic that you're wearing his 'skin' tonight, then." Maybe it's only funny to him, but he's appreciative of costumes that aim to get a bit of a laugh (as if that wasn't obvious from his own choice tonight).

"I'll have to find a way to show my daughter the costume some day. I'm certain she'll enjoy it a lot, even if my wife doesn't appreciate it." Maybe next Halloween he can wear it around his world? Without the added accessories that obviously couldn't have come from their world, of course, but the base costume should be more than enough for the desired reaction.

"Glad I could help. Seemed a sin to make you wait for the treat on a holiday that's dedicated, at least in part, to eating as many sweets as possible." Even if there's a healthy apple underneath all of that sweetness, the idea still stands, right?
