Hughes puts a hand to his chin as he thinks through the idea. "Like playing dress up with my daughter? Or helping her put on a play for my wife?" It seems to him that the only way he can find an excuse to wear the costume again around his family will involve her. She and his wife are pretty much his reason for living most days.
