In this chilly fog Josh has no way of knowing what's real and what isn't. There are no familiar landmarks, no sounds other than the wind and the sound of his shoes. If this is a dream, it's an awfully realistic one given how cold he is. No voices echo on the wind however. Nothing taunts him on the edge of his senses. Just these goddamned ice walls with their staring reflections.
The hand makes Josh jump visibly, turning around with green eyes narrowed and a steeled expression that softens when he realizes it's someone he knows. Someone he knows who is sane and more bundled up than Josh is out here.
"Miles..?" Is he okay? Is he ever okay? He nods, unsure he trusts his mouth to lie for him right now. "You're stuck out here too huh..."
