She puts a finger to her chin in contemplation, this is rather interesting information that sh's being given, and yet, it seems like it will get her a while to actually soak it in, considering the cultural dissonance, almost, considering how different her own world is compared to this one. A world that changes place from day to day, huh, that's going to be a pain to navigate. She's having trouble navigating this place, let alone having to prepare for an almost different layout for the place every day.
What a grand way of giving a girl a massive headache, Nexus. "That's not very helpful, then," she starts, and though she's referring to the world in general, she adds, to clarify, "Nexus seems like a world that likes to confuse its habitants, then." She's got to take a good hold on the situation, and despite feeling overwhelmed, she'll have to take the reins on this thing sooner or later. "Thank you, though." She's going to have to deal with it when the day comes.
But seriously, what is that he's saying, though? "Um, what's a journalist?" She's not sure what that is, and careers and jobs are kind of...different over there. It makes her world seem almost archaic, but modern things are not things that she knows. She knows what a journal is, she knows people who keep one for fun, but this... hmm. She's going to have to take leap of faith and go with her gut. "Is it a person who keeps a journal?" And then, another stab in the dark, "a paper company?"
They colour things, but this seems to be different than what she's thinking about. "Like a company made of paper?" Does that even make sense? Probably not.
