Given the state of her dress, the fact that she openly carries knives and has complete unfamiliarity with spaceships, it's obvious she doesn't come from a warp-capable society. But the thing about the Nexus is that anyone who so much as steps foot here is already 'contaminated,' so to speak, with examples of magic and advanced tech so prevalent that they're sometimes indistinguishable. So it's not like giving basic information is gonna hurt anything.
