His universe is perfectly normal and ordinary, except for being slightly heightened in its intensity, particularly with regard to violence. But like a fish in water, it doesn't stand out as noteworthy or unusual.

“Well,” he furrows his brow, unsure how to describe Los Angeles to someone with no common reference. “There’s a lot of light, a lot of cars, a lot of different people... It’s a real big city, so...” He waves his hand around vaguely, trying to think of what else to add... There’s the beach, there’s Hollywood... His eyes widen as he realizes that he’s left out possibly the most important thing!

“Everyone’s a human. No vampires, no aliens, angels, demons, or anything like that... There's no magic or supernatural type stuff either-- that’s only in the movies.”
