"It is very nice to meet you too, Harley," Krennic said, giving her an appreciative look. There are other people milling around in the Plaza, but no one seemed to take a notice of them now, until a woman comes along and, like before, randomly gave them a bunch of sweets, but this time at least Krennic wasn't alone. "More of this?" he sighs, a little resigned to his fate now. "Seriously?"
And then came the horror when he heard that she's been here for months. "Months? Seriously? If we can just find a door to our universes, as you said-" he thought about this for a moment. "-why don't you just go home?"
He reckoned that there is nothing for her back home if she's not in such a hurry to get back, unlike him, but it's usually common courtesy to ask. Innocently. With an appropriately curious, fake innocent look. Then he could see that she wasn't really impressed with what he said about Jedha, so it's time to up his game. At least Harley let Krennic has his moment. He loves moments, in case it wasn't obvious already. "We destroyed it from space. We could have destroyed the entire moon, but-" he gnashed his teeth in frustration. "My superior officer wouldn't let me. I built the entire battle station--my achievement--and he won't let me. But enough about him. Yes, let's go to the pub," he tried to push his anger aside, giving her some sort of a half-smile. "I like the same thing too. What a coincidence."
this cannot end well
