"Oh... oh no, Ghost. I'm sorry." She bites her lip, watching her friend with sympathy and a growing horror that they really are on their own. There's no Guardian, no Steve, no Isidor... no brave, powerful friend with a level head on their shoulders to keep them safe and out of trouble.

It's just them... and whatever it is that peered up at her from the darkness below.

When Ghost jumps, so does she, before she even knows what he's spotted. She scoots closer to the small bot while four little skeleton creatures crawl out of the ground, a scroll held in their spindly grips. Despite their deformed, unsavory faces, they are the least frightening thing she has witnessed so far, so when they unroll the scroll and hold it up, she hesitantly leans in so that she can read the words written upon it.

The Brain grasps for solace. Find its cure and free it from its endless agony. "Is this something that you want us to do?" she asks the scroll-bearers. "Will this help us get back home?"

The creatures chitter excitedly among themselves. One makes an animated swipe for her hat and she practically leaps backward, clutching the wide brim with both hands.

"Okay... no questions, got it..." She looks over at Ghost, her eyes wide with confusion. "It sounds like a riddle..." Her gaze turns towards the café. There's a light pouring out of it now, an ugly orange light that doesn't look terribly welcoming. But it's the only place they haven't looked yet. "If someone is hurt, they might be inside..."
