"Up there?" Ghost scans the ceiling anxiously, whispering himself now. There are too many vent openings for comfort along this hall, but no sign of movement yet. He remembers four-armed scavengers crawling through the shadows above him. Giant Hive worms slithering through tracks in mummified walls, gnawing the Light out of an abandoned world...

This ship is dying. He can feel it. And something is festering beneath its skin.

Adia's voice - a question, a request, a task - pulls his focus back to the terminal. "Nothing is responding. I thought if I repaired it, perhaps..."

Tiny flickers of light ripple over the terminal as his sensors bathe it in faint blue light. There's no other sign of the repairs he's trying to make, but he looks up then, along the hall. "There's still power flowing farther down. Maybe we'll find something still working there."

He doesn't say that he's not sure the crew did evacuate. In his experience, stumbling into a locked down area rarely reveals the previous occupants made a clean escape. But they just need to get somewhere. Anywhere away from the vents...
