It's not Adia's fault if there's something else in here, of course. Nor is it her fault that Ghost is all too ready to believe that something is stalking them. Perhaps it can smell them; perhaps his Light lures it, hostile and hungry...

He's quick to fall in behind Adia when she leads the way, sheltering behind his bigger friend. For what comfort it gives, though, it also makes it impossible for the Ghost to miss her elevated vital signs, every tiny jump and start, how shallow her breathing is.

"Are... you all right?" he whispers, checking his biological databanks. The numbers say her stats aren't in the dangerous range for a human, but it's unnerving nonetheless. He's not used to such sounds or signals from his companion.

On the other hand, he's quick to dart out and latch onto that keypad. The faint light of his interface link bathes the keys. "I've got this- just hold on a minute..."

His attention is entirely on the system he's tapping into, feeling out the connections and analyzing the best way to trick or bypass or crack the security. By way of explaining the delay he explains, "I can't detect biological traces on the keys."
