Of all the things Jim might have expected his counterpart to offer, a family recipe was not one of them. Especially not one that he hasn't had since he was a teenager, before his life really went to hell. Food is such a touchy subject, but it's important, and surprised as he is, he won't turn it down. That does leave him with the burning question of how the hell did the other guy get his hands on it, not when she was gone by the time he enlisted in Starfleet and finally stopped running wild, but now's hardly the time to ask that. He's got more pressing issues.
