Reynard opens his mouth to protest, but closes it again. True, the man didn't fall into his trap, but that was only because he was prepared, because he was wary and respectful of Winter's dangers. On top of that he still gave an answer to the riddle. It wasn't what he planned, but he can't complain about it.

"So close," he says instead, "but wrong." With a smile he leans closer to add, "And not because of your word choice." He straightens again. "I wouldn't want to ruin the spirit of the game by being pedantic."
