Reynard lets go of her hand briefly to take her by the waist and lift her up from the ground. Ice curls around her shoes and form a blade on her soles. When he sets her down again she takes to her new footwear with ease, which the Winter spirit can't help but appreciate. The skates are much smoother than normal ones. The blades don't so much cut into the ice underfoot as glide steadily, making it particularly easy to keep up with Reynard now.

Once he's sure she's got her balance, he returns to offering her his hand so that she can stay as close or go as far as she likes. "It wasn't a stunt, it was a gift." He grins at her. "You'll enjoy being indignant at it later. But, for now I'll enjoy your inclinations for forgiveness."
