Jim carefully hands off the golden kitten to Hermione and digs his PINpoint out of his pocket. The kitten leans over and gives his father a sniff and reaches out with one little paw from where he's flopped adorably in Hermione's hands. Jim snaps a picture of the kitten and sends it to Felix with a simple caption.

I need a name for this guy.

It won't take but a few moments for Jim's phone to buzz again while he and Hermione watch the kitten greet his father eagerly.

"Name it Martin." It buzzes again before Jim's even finished reading. "No, wait! Better idea: name him Tiber." This time Jim blanches visibly with a chuckle.

No way am I naming him Tiber. Who told you my middle name? :((((
"You mean you didn't just neglect to tell me?"
James T. Kirk. The 'T' stands for Tiberius.
"It does? Well then! It's settled :))))"
What's it mean in your world >_> Is it bad? I can't name the cat something bad, Felix. Promise me it isn't bad.
"Tiber Septim was the founder of our empire. But we also call him Talos."

Jim looks up then from his phone and watches the kitten for a moment. Tiber, huh? As if on cue the kitten rolls over and mews at Jim. He knows his name! It makes Jim chuckle all the more.

Tiber it is then. I'm still going to feel like I'm in trouble for a while but...
"Do you want to be ;)? Wait why would you be in trouble?"

Jim tucks the PINpoint back into his pocket wihtout replying and leans over to give the kitten a pat.

"Guess we're calling him Tiber."
