chiron_survivor: (why'd you say that)

What should be an obvious statement of fact earns an odd look from Adia and Caspar -- or rather, an odd look shared between the couple, a silent conversation in the span of a moment. "So far as I know," Adia answers honestly. "I've never done genetics test to confirm it."

Caspar clears his throat. "I'm not human at all," he clarifies. "I'm a Cylon. A biological robot." Might as well be honest. Hazel was honest with her nature and she had even greater reason to keep quiet about it. It feels strange to announce it, though. Everyone on Atlantis knows he's a Cylon.

The topic of the colonies it at least an easier question to answer, and Adia fills the silence gladly. "The Twelve Colonies were twelve planets in a different solar system from Kobol. There was some sort of disaster on Kobol, so the twelve tribes of humans evacuated via spaceship and then settled in the new solar system." She pauses, then adds, "There was a lost colony, too, that was called Earth, but it wasn't like your Earth at all."

Caspar raises an eyebrow at Hazel's confidence, but doesn't comment immediately. Hazel has likely had plenty of time to observe the depraved side of humanity and prepare herself for the worst. "I'd mind the horns," he says finally. "And aim for the upper half."

Adia tugs at the hem of her cardigan uncomfortably, but not because she's concerned about the satyrs causing trouble. Quite the opposite in fact. Talking about the hosts of the party as if they are barely contained monsters seems unnecessary. "If it gets rowdy, we won't stay."
