It's perhaps not the wisest tactical move to give 'Jeff' the high ground, but Caspar is only concerned about getting distance between the possessed man and Adia. He presses on, attempting to herd 'Jeff' up the stairs, his blows strong and sure.

At least until 'Jeff' taunts him. Caspar snarls and overextends his reach, trying to stab the other man in the face to get rid of that insufferable smirk. Only at the last moment does he realize his mistake and draws back on his swing. "To be honest, once you die, no one's going to give a frak!"
