"That's right. Or maybe I just hate everything." Chara steps back, carefully considering her next move. It's strange not immediately attacking Harley, but she can tell that the woman in front of her is stronger than most.

And then the shots come out of nowhere, forcing Chara to react. The first shot grazes her left arm, but she manages to dodge and weave quickly against the other two. Ouch. Chara looks at her arm, which is starting to bleed and smiles. Without any warning, she lunges towards Harley, swiping at the air around her furiously.

This motion might look scary, but it's clearly opening the girl up for some counterattacks.
