"About here is the start of a belt of parklands and gardens. They usually stretch about halfway around the settled areas, but they're largely just a transitional area between here and the proper Wilds. Be very careful if you want to go beyond them - there's barely any protection against violence or natural threats by the time you get into the true Wilds. Fascinating place to explore, though. I go out there looking for plants and such all the time."
