Whether or not Loki will accept it, Thor will always see him as Odinson, if one who has strayed far into the cold at times. Would he mourn? When has he not? It's a weakness he may never shake, if he'd even want to.

"I suppose that depends on how disappointed you'd rather be." Barbs they may be, but there's no malice in Thor's words, and for half a moment he can almost trick himself into believing that nothing ever changed between them. But the moment is fleeting, leaving behind regret. How different things might have been if Thor hadn't been so blind, despite having both eyes.
