"Yes," she confirms with a bright smile. She loves her new home on Earth. "We used to live in a star system of twelve planets, but had to flee at the beginning of the second Cylon War. We were looking for the lost thirteen colony -- called Earth in the Sacred Scrolls." Her smile dims slightly, tempered by the memory of what her people found. "It was... well, unfortunately, it had suffered its own war. Then, um... well, it's a complicated story, but we somehow found Earth. The same kind of Earth that Steve is from, except the humans who live there are not nearly as technologically advanced. We settled on an uninhabited island and named it Atlantis, after Atlas, a Titan from the Sacred Scrolls."
She's just going to head off any "lost city of Atlantis" confusion right here, although it doesn't seem like Thor knows about that, anyway.
It takes her a moment to get settled, shrugging off her messenger bag and sitting down opposite Thor. Finally, she is able to enjoy a slightly cooler sip of hot chocolate while he speaks, careful not to get any whipped cream on her face. "Oh, your people have magic," she says in surprise. "But no biological study? What flora and fauna did Asgard have?"
