It's Called Brand Loyalty
"So, I got a question..."
Asking today is Harrowheart, who's wandering the Nexus' Downtown district puffing away at cigarettes and stopping at holiday stalls up and down the major streets. He leans over now and then to consider the merchandise on display, pensively looking over the goods with his arms folded behind his back and his hands rubbing at his chin or scratching his sideburns. But he doesn't buy anything – not yet anyway.
"Should you change things about yourself to get what you really want outta life? Or should you always be the 'You' that comes most natural, and get whatcha get outta that?"

"It sounds like your hands aren't the only ones who are unattached," he says, the honor student easing a bit with a smile. "As for me, I don't live for either of those things because I'm not alive. I never was."
He glances Harrow over, not too subtly. "Were you? Alive once?" His biometric scan hasn't picked up a pulse, at least not in the traditional sense.

Then he leans in, in in in until his nose is almost touching Connor's shoulder.
And he sniffs.
After a few seconds he gives the man a bit of space and squints at him out of the corners of his eyes. He smells breathery, but then again he does exist in a living society. Smells have a way of rubbing off.
"You goofin' with me?"
