Coney Island Summer Fun Event

Today visitors to the Nexus will find a large amusement park has appeared, replacing the normal Plaza that is usually there. There are huge rides, such as the Cyclone, Wonder Wheel, and Thunderbolt.
There is also a A Splashing Flume Ride, an Adventure Area, and a large beach area that looks out to the Ocean.
Most of the smaller attractions are of the spinning variety (affectionately referred to in the industry as whirl-and-hurl or spin-and-puke rides) and others that are off-the-shelf models. There is definitely enough rides to attract those who enjoy High Trill, Moderate Thrill, or want a more Mild Thrill. If there is a ride that you can imagine... it is here. For those who want an uplifting experience that leaves you floating in the clouds, and enjoy the entire sights and sounds of the amusement park, be sure to get on the Brooklyn Flyer.
There is also plenty of fair games. One can show off at the Extreme Strength booth, or try to win stuffed animals from the carnival games. There is a dunk tank booth, where a gullible person might be convinced to sit in the target seat, and taunt their friends to take their best shot. There is also a Kissing Booth, which has attractive hosts and hostesses (and yes, this is another place a person can sit to collect their own kisses).
The amusement shops are designed to convince visitors to purchase souvenirs of their stay, or special merchandise (that is only available here!).
What is your favorite summertime indulgence? Funnel cakes, icy cold lemonade, cotton candy or gourmet fries? How about all of them? Half Moon Food Court has all these summertime boardwalk favorites. Or check out Coney's Cones for 12 rotating flavors of artisanal gelato, handcrafted and using the most state-of-the-art techniques by world-renowned experts.
A few of the booths in Food Alley are designed as contests... a way for those who want to test their stomachs to determine if they can eat the most Hot Dogs, or Pies, or Cookies. There is a few drinking contest booths too, with shots lined up along the table tops.
There is live entertainment throughout the park, with musicians, 'Carnival Freaks', and other amusement park attendees who aim to gather attention. Where do you go first?
[OOC note: This is a Party-Style Summer Fun Event. Muses can enjoy the sights and sounds of the Coney Island Fair. Be sure to post around and interact with other characters. Please be respectful to other RPers and ask before muse dropping on any other character]
Re: Harley Quinn sitting in a K...I...S...S...I...N...G booth
He does not immediately recognize the next familiar face, sitting inside a booth and wearing lipstick. She is likely to recognize him first, as he is standing close by looking around in a slightly disgruntled and bewildered fashion.

"Hi Forrest." She grins brightly at him. "Did you know you were next in line?"
no subject
He does not seem particularly bothered by her presence, because he grew up with rowdy brothers and in a rural area, and she lives with Cricket, so his worries about personal space with her are not strong. On the other hand she is a pretty lady, and he always feels out of his depth with those.

There is one very particular area in which Forrest utterly flounders though, and Harley has just hit on it. His ears and neck rapidly redden, and he suddenly seems to shrink a little and look as awkward as a teenager. "Umn. Hm. Oh. 'fit's... f'ra good cause..."
no subject
"On the cheek? Or the lips?"
no subject
One scarred hand lifts, and he taps his cheek, as if he's too sheepish to say it out loud. Maybe he is.

"Howmuch?" He croaks out, because she did say it was for charity and he'll be damned if she doesn't take his donation.
no subject
"Five dollars for the cheek. It is a ten for the lips..." Harley smiles.
no subject
"You... umm..." He blinks, and fleetingly does think at least that's helping tame the blushing, now. "Might... haveta go home 'n back for that much."
Maybe he just won't buy any more carnival food.

At that he does pull out his billfold, which looks like it is made from more cardboard and glue than leather, and some coin change. "Gotta dollar sixteen." His expression is just a little sorrowful, because his visions of carnival food are crumpling under this. "Guess I don't need anything else, here."
It is just possible that he is playing up his disappointment slightly. Deliberately.

"I am collecting for the Eirleos. The new Nexus volunteer group. And I know that they would gladly accept a helping hand, even more than money."
"So tell you what... you agree to provide some muscle when they might need help building something and we will call it even."
Her eyes twinkle. Because Harley can play her own games too. "In fact, why don't we make sure you get the whole bang for your contribution?"
And she leans up and softly kisses him. On his lips.

Plus, this means he still has money to buy more carnival food.
He has just about realized this, when there are soft lips on his, and the blush is abruptly back in force. Is he supposed to kiss back? Is he supposed to remain still? Fortunately it's over before he can figure it out, although his mouth may follow hers just a little as she pulls away, instinctively. His face is red. "Umnn. Tnks." Its a sheepish mumble, but he's smiling, just a little, dazed.
