Beam In
((OOC: FINALLY testing this character after considering it for so long! One comics original Mega Man character, at your service!))
[A long, person-sized pink beam shoots down from the Nexus sky, along with an oddly iconic sounding “BWOO-WIP.” It blinks out a second later, leaving a slightly confused young lady in green colored and pink trimmed armor.]
“This isn’t the arctic research center. Or Geoworks HQ.”
[Is her first observation. Tempo also gives the ground a long look, seriously debating collecting some ground samples with that drill built into her right arm.]
“I’m to ask a question? Not counting these prior two? Then…”
[She trails off, glancing down at her free hand and worrying over how it shakes.]
“I… this is concern and worry? How does someone… that is, any of you, handle separation and complications from feeling that?”

The lady's question makes him pause though. Definitely not a show. Someone new whose found themselves stuck here, more like. He considers her question carefully before approaching.
"I wish I had an easy answer for that." Steve Rogers is a thin frail man, short and appearing much younger than his actual age. "Even before I ended up here, I was separated from those I cared about. I was frustrated and desperate to reunite with them."
YAY Steve!
detectedintroduced to. Flesh and blood instead of steel and oil, from the looks of things. Tempo gives him a careful look, wondering at the physical frailty she’s picking up on. No upgrades for him, or an assistant robot to help him out?One thing at a time. Responses should earn others for polite conversation.]
“Frustration… I experienced something very similar to that, before teleporting here by mishap. I believe it’s known as ‘annoyance.’ Though that was towards another robot, not a situation.”
“Does that feeling… abate? Or does it linger over time? It doesn’t seem to be comfortable.”
[Understatement, and she knows it. Her hand has long since balled into a fist to help contain any nervousness trying to short through her circuits.]

She looks perfectly human to him, if not a bit strangely dressed. Then again, he's met robot-people before and considers one of them a very good friend. But Blaze looks nothing like this person. She looks well...like a robot-person. It's difficult to explain. For Steve anyway.
"It gets easier to deal with, but it never fully goes away, at least in my experience. I live here now. No way to go back to my version of the world and time. So instead of being separated from someone, now it's just....everything."

[Any recognition to be had? Any at all? That bewildered blink is saying otherwise, unfortunately. This is certainly shaping out to be a peculiar location, if people aren't even familiar with that.
To clarify her statement, Tempo lifts her drilled hand up and retracts the weapon, clicking a normal hand back into place with an audible amount of whirs and automated sounds.
She also narrows her eyes over what else is said, looking deeply troubled by the information.]
"That doesn't seem optimal at all... but if all options have been exhausted..."
[Isn't this another form of being trapped? She visibly pales over that prospect, and her eyes dart around; confirming that at least this is an open space people appear to be stuck in. There's worst alternatives, and she forces herself to say that out loud.]
"N-not an optimal situation. Not the worst, but not ideal, either."

"I know someone who might fit that description, but she doesn't look like you." Then again Blaze doesn't look like anyone Steve's ever seen before.
There are, however, more pressing issues being talked about.
"Most people can go home." Steve tries to sound reassuring. "I've found my situation is rather uncommon. So statistically speaking, the odds are in favor of you being able to come and go from this place as you please."

[Tempo's voice notably hitches on the last. Yes, now would likely be a good time to switch to the other topic.]
"I see... and it appears this happened due to a glitch in my teleporting system." [And that whole sentence is spoken in such a matter of fact, everyday issue, too.] "It's something I could experiment with. But... you remain. And I can't teleport humans."
[She seems to be fixated on that whole 'being stuck' thing.]
"You said it has been this way for a while, but... do you require assistance? My primary function is geological excavation, but I can help people in other ways if needed. It... it is part of my protocol."
[And a part of her DOES want to help however she can. But it's easier to default onto programming in order to explain.]

"I live here now. Have a job and friends and everything."
He gestures around the Nexus for good measure. It's a big place.
"What I meant was, you don't have to feel trapped here. There's probably a way back home."
